Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 years as an offensive tight end in the National Football League. He is considered to be one of the top American tight ends ever He has the NFL record for having the highest number of receiving yards of any tight end. He is third all-time in the number of receiving yards.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at FOX's Studio. Gonzalez has been a regular guest presenter on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the 2017 NFL season. The pregame program, lasting an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays starting at 11 am ET throughout the NFL Season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15 2013, for a deal that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. He did this in spite of his claims that he would retire after the season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leading receiver of active receiving yards for his final season.
